Daily class sizes are very limited. These four topics, Truck Ops, Engine Ops, Forcible Entry and VEIS are presented in a single day.
Command Practices from the Front Seat is a stand-alone one day program.
Truck Company Operations
Being fundamentally sound makes all the difference in a truck company. Forcible entry, search, ladders, overhaul and ventilation best practices will be covered in the program. You will be challenged!
Engine Company Operations
It has been said that everything gets better when water gets on the fire. The challenge is making sure the engine company operates like a well oiled machine. Laying out, estimating and making the stretch, the right hoseline selection and management will make or break the job. This program will address all of the above and more!
Vent, Enter, Isolate & Search (VEIS)
VEIS is an often misunderstood and under-utilized tactic. However once explained thoroughly and practiced is may be the difference between life and death for a trapped building occupant. We’ll explain, demonstrate and you will have the opportunity to practice this skill set multiple times.
Getting in sometimes is the toughest part! Not every door is wide open or unlocked. Understanding forcible entry tools and concepts is crucial. There is no room for hesitation in the heat of battle. Learn time-proven techniques that work and pick up some new best practices here!
Command Practices from the Front Seat
For those who ride up or are chief officers, this program will share lots of best practices and solid information. Being an incident command is a daunting task and responsibility. It critical that the IC think in strategic terms and not get sucked into tactical decision making. This a full day program!
