Efficient fireground operations are dependent on staffing, the readiness of your apparatus and a system in place to maximize the use of your resources.
The safety of your personnel is paramount. Fires don’t care about the number of firefighters you bring to an incident. However, staffing does effect the delivery of service and the safety of the operation.
This program will explore various options to maximize the efficiency of your personnel by implementing administrative controls, using innovative and technological advancements and making your apparatus “user friendly”.
Some of the topics:
Engine company objectives
Hose line selection and management
User friendly apparatus
Hardware and devices
Being fundamentally sound
Working with the Truck Company
Note: This is a hands-on program. PPE and SCBA required for participants.
