Big Rig Rescue
Hosted by the Lake Maumelle Fire Department
20720 Clay Street Roland, AR
February 15-16, 2020
8:30AM – 4:00PM
Everyday tractor trailers, tandems and tri-axle trucks roll up and down the highways and by-ways of our country. This program will prepare the participant to deal with the challenges of a “big rig rescue”. Like anything else, polished fundamental skills, solid teamwork and a strong command presence is required for a successful and safe outcome.
After a short classroom presentation, students will transition to the field working in various skills stations. Eventually students will work as companies “responding” to a big rig wreck, coming together to solve complex and challenging problem in scenario-based exercises. NOTE: Appropriate PPE required.
