The focus of this program is on incident management skills and decision making in a unified command structure. Students will be exposed to the inner workings of a unified Command Post.
Since an all hazard incident suggests “something bad is happening someplace and we will need a lot or resources from different agencies to fix it” goes to the core of the training.
Emergency responders, public sector partners and even the location or business affected all have a vested interest in resolving the program. Without a framework to follow, chaos will ensue.
The program includes a didactic presentation, many small group exercises, case study reviews and classroom simulations exercises.
