Managing Special Operations

0 student

Special operation incidents do not occur as often as fires and medical emergencies, but they generally involve a higher degree of complexity and require technical expertise to safely resolve them. These high risk, low frequency situations demand specialized training, unique equipment, teamwork and strong leadership in order to successfully manage a variety of situations.

Critical to the development and effectiveness, safety and sustainability of these special operations resources is strong leadership. Upon completion of the program, participants will understand how to analyze the complexities, dynamics, and interrelationships of special operations. Through interactive lecture and group activities participants will review current models and best practices for leading special operations. (1-2 Day Program)
